| trish - trained as a hypnotherapist and healer in Los Angeles, California. I worked with various bands/artists in London/New York and Los Angeles as a saxophone player, now a vocalist. Also working with the musicians as a hypnotherapist ie; tour fatigue, stage nerves, creative blocks etc. My hypnotherapy dissertation was ' Hypnotherapy within the music industry; creating optimal conditions for musical excellence'.
When in LA I sing with Howlett Smith, jazz pianist/composer and am currently recording with him as an artist for Raven records, a small independent jazz label.
I met Howlett at 'Marlas' Memory Lane' a jazz supper club in Crenshaw, South Los Angeles, a place I'd heard of while in New York. The club had a reputation for great jazz players. Howlett regularly played there with Larry Gales, bass player with Thelonious Monk during the 1960's. Together they wrote and recorded for many name artists.
I was regularly invited to sit in by Howlett, who became my vocal coach and mentor.
I met Carlo and Maria in 2005 to work collectively on a Christmas song for Shield South Yorkshire.
